Pick of the Week: John Schroeder's post, Of Blogging and Beauty. There are a couple of parts about blogging, but it's wider than that and really captures an approach to life as a whole. Upside down values to be treasured. Wonderful.

The Speed of Dark: Great post from Martin LaBar, who has reviewed The Speed of Dark by Elizabeth Moon. All sorts of things in this, autism, spirituality, how we view science... Fascinating and challenging.

Wot, no boa? Eric at The Fire Ant Gazette gives his take on Snakes on a Plane. Cracked me up.

In the Woods: It's posts like this that are why Another Think is one of my favourite blogs.

Tribute: Another one from John Schroeder. He's on a roll as we say here. He has a tribute to jazz trumpeter Maynard Ferguson who died this week. Has a YouTube video too. This has heart.
