Comment and Trackback Policy

For the most part I have had great comments here at Allthings2all. However the readership has grown, and so it is necessary to have a comments and trackback policy. Allthings2all is a little piece of cyberspace in which I write what I want and you are welcome to read it and add a few thoughts of your own. Here is my policy:

Comments

Discussion and questions are welcome. Let's stay on the topic in the post. The usual weblog guidelines apply to my site too - no personal attacks, no flaming, and no expletives. If you have personal exhortation then please email privately. If you have an extremely long comment then I prefer you post it on your own blog.

Also: No advertising or spam, and no linking in the comments please. You can put a link to your site where there is a space for "homepage" in the comment box. I don't take comments that are obviously just designed to advertise a website or weblog.

Please have a name and valid email address with your comment. Your email address won't be displayed publicly.

Comments are sometimes on moderation - if your comment doesn't show after you post it don't worry -just check the top of the comment box to see if moderation is on.

Generally comments are open on posts for two weeks, and then comments on that post are considered closed.

If you trackback here please make sure that your trackback link works, and that you have a link in your post to the post you have tracked back to.

I reserve the right to edit or delete comments or trackbacks which are inappropriate.
